Frequently Asked Questions
What is the International Bonus Pool?
The purpose of the Plexus® International Bonus Pool Program is to identify and reward leaders who play a key role in opening and/or growing a new market/region by taking action early in the development of that country/region.
As an incentive to Ambassadors who do business in new global markets early or have an interest in doing so, Plexus offers an International Bonus Pool Program based on market development. The bonus is paid QUARTERLY. A quarter is based on the calendar year (January – March, April – June, July – September, October – December).
An Ambassador will share with other qualified Ambassadors (up to 25 per quarter in each market) a bonus based on a certain percentage of the Local Market Commissionable Sales Volume (1%).
There will be an International Bonus Pool opportunity in each of the international markets (CA, AU and MX).
Example: Each qualified Ambassador will receive a percentage of the International Bonus Pool market commissionable volume (1%) for the specific market in which they participate. The bonus will be based on how many Ambassadors qualify during each quarter and will be a weighted amount based on the amount of points produced by each qualifying Ambassador for that market. Up to 25 qualified Ambassadors can participate in the Bonus Pool per quarter in each market. The participants may vary quarter to quarter based on eligibility and points produced.
What is the International Founding Ambassador title?
When the International Bonus Pool program launches, Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to earn the title of International Founding Ambassador. A International Founding Ambassador is defined as: one of a predetermined number of Ambassadors (up to 25) in a newly launched, local market who is one of the first Ambassadors to achieve certain requirements established by the Company for that country/region. When an Ambassador meets all program requirements and qualifications and is one of the first (up to 25) to do so, he/she will receive the title of ‘International Founding Ambassador’ in that market.
The International Founding Ambassador title will be available to the first 25 Ambassadors in each International market (CA, AU and MX) who meet all program requirements and qualifications in the specific market.
The title of International Founding Ambassador is not required to participate in the International Bonus Pool program at any time nor guarantees participation in the Bonus Pool.
The opportunity to earn a International Founding Ambassador title will commence April 1, 2020.
What is the honorary International Founding Ambassador title?
For the international markets (i.e. Canada and Australia) launched prior to the inception of the International Bonus Pool, Ambassadors with a rank of Emerald, Sapphire or Diamond who reside in the respective country will be given an honorary International Founding Ambassador title; however, to participate in the International Bonus Pool all eligibility requirements must be met. 25 International Founding Ambassador spots are available to the first Ambassadors who meet all eligibility requirements of the International Bonus Pool for Canada, Australia, and Mexico.
What are the qualifications for the International Bonus Pool?
- Commission qualified all 3 months in the quarter.
- Qualify (i.e. Paid As) at the rank of Sr. Ruby for 2 of the 3 months in the quarter, in the specific market (CA, AU, MX)
- At least 90% of the points (675 total points with 135 points needed from outside the primary leg) needed for Sr. Ruby coming from the specific market/region.
- Rank in the top 25 of qualified Ambassadors based on point volume in the specific market.
- 5 personally sponsored and qualified Level 1 Ambassadors required for Sr. Ruby must be from the specific market.
When does the International Bonus Pool begin?
The program will officially launch in each international market (CA, AU, MX)
1 April 2020; however, all activity that meets the criteria for the program qualifications will be retroactive to 1 January 2020.
Does an Ambassador’s rank or any existing points in any International market(s) count?
No pre-existing points or ranks will count towards the program in each market. All points, ranks and qualifications will be counted and effective from the date the program is announced. All Ambassadors are at the same level and starting point from the beginning of the program (January 1, 2020). Ambassadors begin to build in a specific market as if they are a new Ambassador. New activity begins with their personal enrolments in the specific market. All points must originate from the Ambassador’s personally sponsored Level 1’s in the specific market from the start date of the International Bonus Pool Program.
Are there continuing progress requirements for the International Bonus Pool?
Yes. It is expected that Ambassadors will continue to grow their Plexus organization and help others do the same. More details will be available soon to explain the continuing progress requirements.
Can an Ambassador participate in any of the International Bonus Pools?
Yes. All Ambassadors (US/NZ, CA, AU, MX) can participate in one or all of the pools. Participation is dependent on meeting all eligibility requirements for each specific market.
How many Ambassadors can qualify to participate in the International Bonus Pool?
Up to 25 qualified Ambassadors can participate in the International Bonus Pool per quarter in each market, for a total of 75 Ambassadors (25 in CA, 25 in AU, 25 in MX). The number of participants may vary each quarter based on number of Ambassadors who qualify; however, the maximum number of participants is 25 per market, per quarter (maximum 75 participants per quarter). Participants must meet all program requirements and rank in the top 25 based on point volume in the specific market.
